Tony was a former Chief Scientist of Baidu's Autonomous Driving Unit and a tenured professor of electrical & computer engineering at the University of Missouri. Tony received a Ph.D. degree from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Yan has deep expertise in computer vision and autonomous driving technology.
Yan worked at Facebook and Microsoft and was an early member of Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA).
He received a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
