WeRide Robobus Makes an Appearance at BEYOND Expo 2024, Showcasing Cutting-Edge Autonomous Driving Applications

On May 23, the 4th BEYOND International Science and Technology Innovation Expo (BEYOND Expo 2024) grandly kicked off at The Venetian Macao Cotai Expo. WeRide proudly showcased its flagship smart mobility product, the autonomous minibus Robobus, presenting its leading technological advancements and commercial applications in autonomous driving to a global audience of entrepreneurs, investors, government representatives, and technology enthusiasts.

BEYOND Expo 2024 centers around technology, focusing on three sub-brands: BEYOND Healthcare, BEYOND ClimateTech, and BEYOND ConsumerTech. The WeRide Robobus on display at this exhibition is the pinnacle of WeRide's technological innovation. Built on WeRide's advanced autonomous driving hardware and software architecture, the vehicle features in multiple capabilities such as 360-degree perception without blind spots, combining safety with comfort, etc. It fulfills the criteria for zero emissions, low noise, and high-frequency commercial operations.

Currently, WeRide Robobus has conducted road testing and operations in nearly 30 cities, including Guangzhou, Beijing, Wuxi, Nanjing, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi. On December 30, 2023, it officially launched the first commercial autonomous driving minibus service in Guangzhou, China, the first BRT line, and the first nighttime autonomous driving minibus service.
